So I recently got an email from a friend who is a moss point police department in northern Illinois. He was just wondering if I might be able to take a couple of pictures of what they are doing. I’m pretty sure that I can. And he sent me a link to the site.
The Moss Point Police Department is one of the oldest and most respected on the East Coast. They are in a rural area and have been in business for over 100 years. The department is a volunteer organization and was started in 1855 when the first police officer was hired. Although the department is based in a rural area, it is well known for its use of technology and the vast amounts of data that are collected.
A big part of the job of a police officer is keeping the public safe. In the case of Moss Point, the department needs to have a large amount of data about the area they are in and what is going on in it, but also need to keep up with all the changes happening around them.
